Week 8:  BaroQue 

This is a period of artistic style and used exaggerated motion and clear, it was easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, in literature. the design are thought to be excessive complexity of line. Baroque is the time where art are of emotion and theatrical play is can be shown in the artist painting. 

their stormy, emotional dynamic and forceful style is identified as enclosed art of passion in theatrical display.

Because it was characterized by great drama, rich color and intense light of dark shadow , it was clearly the opposite of the Renaissance art that usually showed the moment before an event took place. Artist in the Baroque period chose most dramatic point and a moment of action.like what in the previous lesson. Micheal Angelo, working in the High Renaissance shows his David composed and still before he battles Goliath; Bernini's Baroque David is caught in the act of hurling the stone at the giant. Baroque is defined as emotion and passion instead of the calm that had been seen in the renaissance.

In the Present Time, most of the artist are expressionist and we can see some famous artwork that had been used the same style in the baroque period.

Week 7: The Art of Renaissance 

The renaissance art is perceived as a "rebirth" of ancient tradition. it is where the art was express not only on the wall but in the painting. The three man that change the faces of the art history: Micheal Angelo, Leonardo, Rafael. The realism and expression in presenting their painting was magnificent, the gradually change of the model that they used and the inspiration of the artist, can visual be seen. This period as they say the rebirth of art, from the previous lesson where in ancient and Classical art their daily basis was Animals Human, God and Goddess. and because most of their art were more on Realism and expressionism it also become the inspiration of the new artist although they used the own style of painting. 

But the idea and concept of making their art was came from the famous 3. (Leonardo, Micheal, Rafael) the used of perspective  as a technique which is a space appeared in the painting of Giotto di Bondone, at the beginning of the 14th century. and latter form in linear perspective. foreshortening that has an rtistic effect of shortening lines in a drawing and creating illusion of depth, the sfuamto which is use by Leonado it is where softening of sharp outlines and grdual blending o one tone, Chairoscuro which is the oppposite of sfuamto. 

Humanist and Realism

 artwork often portrayed such subjects as Mary, Jesus and various saints-- figures were rendered in a realistic human form rather than as the abstract, idealized figures typical of the Late Middle Ages and Byzantine art. This type of realist perspective involved a greater understanding of human popularity of nudes and an obsession with portraying natural human expression and behavior.

Classical Roman and Greek Influence Early Renaissance artists emulated the Greek and Roman tendencies to give human faces and expressions to the Gods. In addition to Christian figures, these artists also portrayed such mythological characters as Venus and Mars in their artwork.

These techniques is still visible and being used not only by the famous artist in different area of the world but also the simple artist student who are inspired by their art. Renaissance period affect and influences not only the art but also the artist in the technique and their characteristic.

 week 6: The Christian Art

The christian art was bloom in the near origin of Christianity, the faith of the christian made them to create a big churches to pray for there God. Medieval art in Europe grew out of the artistic heritage of the Roman Empire and the iconography traditions of the early Christian church. art evolves as humans continue addressing the traditional and the new, including Biblical subjects, Christian dogma, and Classical mythology.The oldest examples of Christian art survive in the Roman catacombs, or burial crypts beneath the city. By 350 AD, the Church had two power centers, Rome in the West and Constantinople (the capital of the Byzantine Empire) in the East. Most of the art was like in the ancient Greece where the stories is painted in the vase of in the sculpture, in the christian art the life of Jesus Christ and the story on the bible is mostly painted on the wall or carved in the stone. 

Primary media in the Gothic period included sculpture, panel painting, stained glass, fresco and illuminated manuscript. The easily recognisable shifts in architecture from Romanesque to Gothic, and Gothic to Renaissance styles, are typically used to define the periods in art in all media, although in many ways figurative art developed at a different pace.

I don't think it this era has gradually affected the way the style i used on painting and in creating the design in my art work. but on how idealism was implied was the same for me.

ARTS : Ancient  & Greece





Ancient arts were created during the pre-historic period. These types of arts were contributions of the early civilization and were greatly affected or based on culture, religion and social practices. Ancient arts are indispensable part of the world's history. Egypt, ancient China, Mesopotamia and Greece are some places were these arts were created and produced.

Cave paintings, impressive architectural designs like that of the Ruin of Persopolis and Pyramids in Egypt, the well-known sculpture of the Terracota warriors in China, and the Greek gods and goddesses sculptures are some famous examples of ancient and classical arts. Moreover, ancient arts also includes different literary writings and style.

The exceptional creation of the ancient arts, add to this the legend and stories behind every creations are what makes these arts timeless,  boundless and beyond extraordinary. 

In the both periods and Era, most of the amazing arts is their Architectural design, the law of the proportions and ration and he symmetric calculation was perfectly made in each building. It is still mystery on building this large architecture in the history. On our generation we have the version of the Colosseum  of the Romans, in the Italy.  

Week 4: A Realistic Art

I do much prefer this art it has a detail of what are you going to paint unlike the alteration or distorted art you have to think of an idea on how you will distorted an image and it was for me a difficult thing to do. their are several artist that enjoy making an distorted art like Mashkoor Raza Pakistan he is well know for being a Master of Distorted Arts. His arts was calm and peaceful w/ a developing sense of the Distant Past.

Most of his art was about horse in the fig.1 you can see it was an image of a nude human with the distortion of the animal. and the same on the fig.2 which is the same. i believe that before you can achieve the level of the distortion is you have to find a right theme on a certain idea that you are going to apply. I was a bit difficult on distorting an image... that will be able to still see the main concept of the art. 

i been practicing for several hours in a nude picture of a woman and i find it not exactly the same as in the picture which is true troublesome. on the contrary it was challenging. doing an art like that, you really have to be in the mood, last time our activity evolved in the Hands,,we create a realistic hand and a distorted art of it, and what can be worse, it just came into my head well i hate it and maybe that's why it came...

anyway i enjoy making the art it was fun -_-

week 3: Discovering Impromptu Art

This week we've been studying on creating a offhand drawing. we are learning from the basic, from line to shapes. Creating an art on the spot, at first it was really hard i have to find my model for me before i can create my perfect drawing i always set my mood. And it was difficult for me to do it, sometimes distraction occur, having satisfied in an art which is not good. I thought that i'm the only one who's acting like but i figured out that my classmate feel the same, they have this feeling of insecurity of other drawings that unable them to continue their art. :( 

In my technical drawing i'm having a hard time in the basic, i thought that it will be easy but it's not creating a straight line, right curves then creating something out of a shape. It funny but i have realized while saying it was hard, we can really apply it in our on the spot drawing. Last Thursday we have to make a drawing about in action what is happening in the Gym. I made a man out of circle and box. the way i draw is different from it. i just start on hair then face, but i have to make a position which difficult to make, I used the way our prof. teach and it was effective :)

They define Impromptu art as an A piece composed or played at first thought. it means it can be doodle on your notebook, or something that you see and inspired you. It can be made of pencil and crayons color that can create different art. you don't prepare on creating it most of the artist are like this it's on their mood on how they will made the art.  What can i say art is made by feelings and their meaning is made by the artist the viewer is the one who interprets the artist way of art. 

WEEK 2: THE CLASSICAL ARTS



The Greek Gods and Goddess in this Era and time was the mightiest of all, their power and beauty is above. It was said that in ancient Greece competition is on going between city-state had the best statues and the most beautiful temples, they made perfect statues of people and the columns that were supported a building, were perfectly symmetrical.

Ionic Style - thinner and more elegant. Its capital is decorated with a scroll-like design (a volute). This style was found in eastern Greece and the islands.
Corinthian- Corinthian style is seldom used in the Greek world, but often seen on Roman temples. Its capital is very elaborate and decorated with acanthus leaves.
 Doric- Doric style is rather sturdy and its top (the capital), is plain. This style was used in mainland Greece and the colonies in southern Italy and Sicily-(google).

And because it was dominated by religion it was not surprising that the temples in that time has the most beautiful structure but, Greece didn't last long because the Romans Conquer the Greeks, and as the Greek fall their arts lives, Romans is the visual of of Greece they produced hundred copy of Greece Art. It was the largest empire in the history and  its impressive art reflects this power and the mighty empires reach across the world. Most of the Greek sculptures that exist today are actually Roman replicas of the original.

Colosseum

 

The Colosseum is one of great architecture of the Romans it is composed of arch that pile together it is composed of 80 gigantic arches and 20 ft high. (National Geographic) form into a giant ring around the perimeter it was a symphony of arches that was build for the battle of warrior in that time. we can say that we really adapted this way of creating a building in the Rome. I think this is the influential period of the history we can still see the Ruins today and those technique used to design the stone are still we used today specially in church and museum. i was really amazed on how the roman can go anywhere using their skilled engineer, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZPTvvmk1jY&feature=related), how they build a bridge to be able to cross on the river and make it in time in invading the German. Leading the greatest warrior Ceasar, the power that influence as all in all. 

it was amazing on how they able to make a structure that still stands today we can say how firm it was and to be able to finish it earlier, materials that they made to be able to create it, it was a magnificent art.

 HISTORY OF ARTS: 2ND SEMESTER

WEEK 1: WHO IS MONA LISA IS SHE A WOMAN?

   Mona Lisa is a famous well know art of Leonardo Da Vinci, inventor, artist, excellent man in renaissance period. And now still known. His Master pieces Mona Lisa (La Gioconda) is a popular art work of the century it became a mystery of who is the girl behind the painting. In 1500 when Leonardo Da Vinci have returned in France., He spent 17 years in Milan, after French army invaded his invention, he got weary of using his brush. It was also from the observation of the priest in France  Father Pretra.(youtube:Monalisa Secret life) And what interest him, in painting again in the late 1503 is when a woman came in his studio to ask him to paint her. This woman that have mentioned is part of the researcher study and what is in the mind of the great artist while making this painting. Other said it was a dream, inspiration of what Da Vinci want to became a suspections of being a Gay. Proves it on how detailed he draw the body structure of a man, but still every question does not end and a limited answer that has no prof. 

 

  Mona Lisa the woman behind the painting that Leonardo created was said to be a House wife in the middle class family. Her name is LISA DEL GIOCONDO. wife of a businessman Florante Fracesco del Giocondo. They say she was pregnant with her second child, when she ask Leonardo to paint her. the speculation came from how she sit and the position of her hands, But being a wife of Francesco is still a question for the ring that symbolized that she is already married is not seen in the artwork.The status that proves of being a middle class classify by the ornament w/c also not found in the Mona Lisa. Behind her hidden smile is said to leonardo mother smile, it was his signature in his artwork the Mother Figure Smile . Mona Lisa is interpreted to be a great psychological photo.

 It Come to my  mind while watching the Documentary of the Da Vinci Life and Works that, can a man make an art without putting any meaning to it? I mean may be we notice something like a code that reveal mystery, just giving them a meaning . Whenever i looked at Mona Lisa painting in the internet the only observation that i can see is a woman w/o an eyebrow unsure smile and wide forehead. The blending of color that was and understanding on how did the artist start the artwork, did he used guidelines in making the face of the model? How about the woman behind it? may be she wanted to be painted by a famous artist. right? May be i don't understand the way an artist is thinking because never tried to make a painting of a human as a model. But as i analyze it in creating a art your attention is on your model you just draw your feelings or what you see, putting a code and a hidden message on your painting is something that you cannot think when you are making an art. The message can only be seen after the painting was finish and sometimes the viewer is the one who interpret the painting that you had made. Make sense right? I think Da Vinci didn't realized that his painting will be famous in the future and carrying for almost 17 years of his travel it may be the greatest Art of his Life.

 

 



WEEK 10: GET OUT OF A BOX!!!


Long Weekends are over wah!! today we had fun watching the play the Juggler the Mermaid and the Bitter it was quite a long day for me we encounter a traffic jam going home and going their, but the thing is we had fun in riding in the jeepney! anyways!!!!

 For now our group are thinking of a new way how to improve our project in Communication Technology, we've been always using Movie Maker in our project and  my objective this semester is to try to create a movie using ADOBE AFTER EFFECT. Last time it was been discussed by Ms. A that we need to create something out of a box which means that to have different idea on that you usually do. I admit that if i don't educate myself or expose myself in learning my own i won't be knowledgeable on this way to create a Visual Project.

How can you create something new from what you usually do? first is try something new like eating a cheese once you always eat cheese you have the tendency to get tired eating it. Once you use already the effect try to avoid repeating using it so that the viewer will have more expectation on your project.
Second is used other resource to improved your work watching other video may help you to create a new idea that will may be used in you project.

Third one is your Timeline of course try to settle all the things on the plan why so that you don't have to re shoot again in the certain place it is time consuming and you'll may not be able to finish your project in TIME.
The forth and last one is Learn From others sometime it may be hard to understand some part on doing your Video but always your are free to ask question and gain feedback from others because this will help you to improve your skill in making a VIDEO CLIP! ^ ^

week 9: All about Blogging



Now a days we are more exposed in internet and more technological devices, in early age we only write our thought, opinion, experience.


 Through the use of pencil and paper sometimes in a typewriter and use touch & go to delete the word that had been time. we can say that beca we ionuse of we are in a new era and generation we used or preferred to used the most easiest way of expressing our idea and it is through Blogging. 

What is Blog? 
it was said that Blog is a place where we express our idea or opinion in a certain  topic (google.com)
as it is define can we really express anything in what we thought through blog? yes we can but we be always need to remember that think before you click it in a small answer or wrong answer it can may influence or hurt others.

Being a Blogger we must not abuse the use of internet to criticize a person, in expressing a idea we must see the other party or the real story before typing a feed backs.
Blogging can bring a good and bad effect to a person. why we can gain information and also used that information to others.

Blog is a dairy in which we allow other or to share others about what happen in the whole day in a certain event where we don't have to paste a picture all we have to do is to upload a photo.

 week 8: New Era, New World    

Good evening! I'm back again it was still raining and because of failure in internet connection i was not able to do my Assignment, RAIN RAIN GO AWAY COME AGAIN another year. >O<

New Era were new devices and OS were made it's advance and more high technology than the past year but, still i wasn't able to catch up last time in Commtech lecture, Our teacher ask how many us are using the latest New media but still there are few who are knowledgeable to use it. What may be the problem? For me i'm having a hard time downloading.

 There are many software that free but most of it were Trial Version only. You may ask instead of buying a software we prefer to use a pirated or Downloaded is because it is updating which you will need to buy another one to be updated again. and it cost a lot. we can't change the fact we are being practical, Yes you may say it is not in other way but to those people who can't afford but are i need and want to use it, i can say that the easiest way. 

 I just realized that taking up Multimedia, I.t, C.S or these courses although you already finish your college course still we are oblige to continue learning. The new more advance technology we had the more we are eager or challenge to learn. It will be our advantage if we'll be able to learn those things that are new from other.

week 7: Rain Rain GO Away!

Happy Evening to All!..So tired and i'm out from my work. Before July was ended a storm came in the Philippine Area of Responsibility and it was name as HENER, unfortunately because of this storm classes are suspended and lot of  Student and Teacher were affected.


We didn't able to finish our work and we rush things out, but still i'm thankful that no ones got hurt although there are several things got out of control, but still i survive. thank god (-_-).

That time i was really busy reading books and working although it's raining i still need to go to work. most of the time i when heavy rain.I prepare the things that are to be needed when it get BlockOut, because of pour eyesight i have flashlight, candle and matches in my pocket. i charge my phone and Mp3 to entertain my self if the lights got out. and the most important thing is the magical fan! ^.^ 

And in the end of the day i realize we shouldn't be happy if we don't have class why? because on the other day it will be full of work. So the only thing that i can suggest to you if this happen make use of the time wisely and  enjoy the rain

  WEEK 6: Communication Highway

Hello Good pm! I just got off from my work and so tired. While I was waiting for a Jeep to ride I saw  my  korean costumer, having a hard time using his APPLE TABLET and as i approach him he told me he can't change it function in Korean and because i also new in that kind of gadget i wasn't able to help him. (ToT) At that time i realized that kind of gadget for me is way to advance for me. And then i remember i have a Blog to do and why not included this topic.

Last time we have discuss about how children of our age used technology now a days and how we spend our time and hour in the internet games etc. Last time it was said in news regarding a teenager in Taiwan was found dead in an Internet café after playing video games for 40 consecutive hours. The teen, known only by the surname Chuang, collapsed during a marathon session of playing Diablo 3.

This is one of the bad effects of misused of technology. It is fun to play a game but image a 40 hours playing does he event sleep or eat or Take a bath? 


We also Discuss on how Technology evolved and i found out that the technology today is much easier to used than in the past. and the introductory of those bunch of guys who are behind for the miserable and yet Enjoyable time using their master piece. Well it become a highway for us to have a faster communication. Internet Super Highway have play a great role in our daily life but remember i mean always remember that it is us who has to control to used, so we should know what boundaries we have.

WEEK 5: WE ARE FAMILY

At last Home sweet Home these are the words came out in my mouth. after 5 weeks of studying and being a part of MMA family.I can still remember those High school days of my life, when i have been cast out because there are only few of my classmate who can relation on my hobby (Cosplaying, Jpop and animation etc.) they say it's only for kids and for my parents? well the same. I never had been so much Happy in my entire  life. discovering this course and family made me realize, this is where i belong.

 Although some of us think that. "I can't draw may be i'm not here?" some ask "they drew much better than me." But guys always remember. that you must love your own work first, don't compare your work to other always think you might not good in that aspect but you are good in some thing. Don't be afraid to ask feedback from others and learn to accept in so that you will be able to enhance your skill. 

MMA open and give us opportunities and open new door to show what we got. and now this is the chance i will not let go of it every opportunities that will come to me. i'll accept it as a challenge. BANZAI!... 

Someday I hope that all of us will be successful and as for now lets enjoy whatever happen always think that this MMA family is there to help achieve our goals and dreams in life.

WEEK 4: TEAM WORK

HI! Guys! just got home doing. Well we at last we are through with our examination in COMMUNICATION. whoosh! i thought we won't be able to finish it because what Marian said, Today is Friday the 13th?. I don't actually believe in that because it is us who make our destiny we shouldn't rely on that kind of thing and beleive God. Well any way we finish it today thanks to our TEAM WORK. :]

Team Work is also important part of Communication through this will be able to communicate well to other people. exchanging ideas to make your task or project easier and look good. Like what HATAKE KAKASHI said team work is important because they might be able to defeat him if they just move as one and not plan separately. In Team Work no one is a leader each member should understand the move of each   other so that it will be successful. 




That is why it is true that 2 is better than one. :) they must follow the Team Development which is:
1. Forming
2.Storming
3.Performing

these 3 will help you to be able to achieve a good teamwork and communication among your team mate.1)Forming you head must start the discussion to be perform.2) Storming after you have discuss the topic, tell it to your group mate to be able to get other idea, Communication is important as well as regular feedback on progress.3) Performing notice all the opportunities for the success of your group in the future.

WEEK 3:A NEW WAY!

Now there is a new way and effective ways to communicate faster and it is through technology. Technology make our lives a lot easier, it helps us in different aspect of our live and with this we are able to finish our work within a day.

Imagine your life without technology? will you able to survive? it may be have a bad effect but technology become our part of our Daily Lives. 


You don't need to miss your love ones abroad, through the help of a new way of communicating w/ the advance use of technology in just want click. You be able to see each other again.


Not only when you are lost and you can't find your way back cellphone may locate your location. Isn't easy. We communicate more easier and a lot better today. yes technology change our daily life but. in the end we the user are the one responsible of using or abusing the used of technology. Everything has a Limitation. 

WEEK2: WHY COMMUNICATE?

Why communicate? It is to exchange, express an idea or interest in each other. This is a way to be able to understand and be understand.

Communicate play a large role in our life, it is what we do there 
are different way to express that.


I have read some of my classmate work and I found it amusing the way how they communicate in school and other places. You see communicating is not only more on talking like a I said I a while ago, you can also communicate through arts.

It’s a case to case basis if you’re only going use your mouth how about the deft?

Will she/he can be able to understand it? Expression can also use in communicate.
 As of now my way of communicating is, I’m using this blog to be heard and to be able to express and show my opinion in a certain topic that our teacher has given to us.

That does why we communicate imagine the world without communication? Man what a disaster right….
